Photos from the 2026 Taste of the South Gala Are Here

We are thrilled to share photos from Habitat for Humanity of Oconee County’s premier fundraiser, the 2026 Taste of the South Gala, held on October 14, 2026, at the Shaver Recreation Complex.

The evening brought together community members for an unforgettable celebration of giving, culinary excellence, and support for affordable housing. Guests enjoyed a showcase of local chefs, complimentary champagne, wine, and beer, and an exciting live auction featuring some of the best experiences our region has to offer. Attendees also had the opportunity to raise their paddles to help build strength and stability in our community through affordable housing.

This year’s event lived up to its promise of being bigger, better, and more impactful than ever—an incredible evening of celebration and culinary delights that advanced our mission.

Thank you to everyone who attended, to our generous sponsors and donors, to the talented local chefs who shared their craft, and to all who supported the auction and paddle raise. Your generosity strengthens families and builds brighter futures right here in Oconee County.
