Founded June 9, 1986, Oconee County Habitat for Humanity has spent four decades putting God’s love into action—building homes, communities, and hope as an all-volunteer organization.
With more than 128 families served and a continuing commitment to construct 4–5 homes each year, the affiliate remains one of the largest volunteer Habitat groups in the nation. Homes are sold at cost with interest-free mortgages, and families invest sweat equity and complete financial education as part of the partnership.
